What our installation actually includes

An install is a system, not a box count. Every PGAK installation is quoted with the parts itemised — cameras where needed, cabling and power runs, the recorder, storage sized to your real retention need — and handed over with you owning every password.

Reuse before replace

If your existing cameras are serviceable, we keep them. The intelligence runs in software, so a working camera rarely needs to be thrown away to get modern alerts.

Placement designed for detection

Cameras are positioned for what they must detect — the boundary wall, the loading bay, the entrance where attendance is marked — not just for coverage on a floor plan.

Two weeks of tuning after handover

Detection zones, alert schedules and who-gets-notified are configured and then tuned against real traffic, so alerts stay trusted instead of getting muted in week one.

You own the system

Admin passwords, camera credentials and recorder access are handed over in writing on day one. If we ever part ways, everything keeps working and everything is yours.

Questions to ask any CCTV installation company

Ask who owns the recorder password. Ask for the response time to a dead camera in hours, in writing. Ask for cabling and storage as separate line items. Ask what happens when the disk fills. And ask to see a live system they installed more than a year ago. Do you install new CCTV cameras or only add software to existing ones?

Both. If you have no cameras, we design and install the full system. If you already have cameras, we reuse every serviceable one and add the intelligence layer — most sites end up with a mix of kept cameras, a few repositioned ones, and new units only where coverage is genuinely missing.

Which areas does your CCTV installation service cover?

Can you take over a CCTV system another company installed?

Yes, and it is common. We audit what is installed, recover or reset access you should have been given, restore dead cameras where the cabling allows, and add the alerting layer on top of the estate you already paid for.
