Gate time
Theoretical capacity, not queue throughput: real gates are also limited by lanes, barrier speed and how vehicles arrive in bunches.
Plate reads depend on the camera per lane, approach angle, speed and night lighting. Where a plate cannot be read dependably, we say so instead of quoting.
How it is calculated
Gate hours = vehicles × Δseconds × days ÷ 3600.
Worked example
120 vehicles a day, 90 seconds falling to 20, over 26 days, gate staff at ₹250 an hour.
70 seconds saved per vehicle, 60.7 gate hours a month, worth ₹15,167 as capacity. Drivers' waiting time is excluded unless you pay for it.

What this does not tell you
A driver's waiting time is not your cash saving unless you pay for it. Real throughput also depends on lanes and barrier hardware.
